Feed presents a intricately detailed vision of consumption, knowledge, and perception. At the center, a enlarged silverfish—commonly dismissed as a mere household pest—clings to a stack of worn books, its body coiled and engaged in the act of devouring the very pages that hold human thought, history, and imagination.

Rendered in meticulous linework, the creature appears both alien and strangely natural, its form exaggerated into something monstrous. Yet beneath the initial discomfort lies a subtle shift in perspective. The books, symbols of knowledge and preservation, are not simply being destroyed—they are being absorbed, transformed, and repurposed through another form of existence. The title, Feed, operates on multiple levels. It speaks to the literal act of consumption, but also to the way all living things survive by taking in and transforming what surrounds them. The phrase “we call them monsters” challenges the viewer to reconsider the labels we assign. Is the creature truly monstrous, or is it simply fulfilling its role within a larger cycle?

Feed invites viewers to question their assumptions, suggesting that what we fear or reject may simply be another expression of life’s continuous, inevitable exchange.
