I am honored to welcome you into a glimpse of my world, where I create art that brings peace and emotional healing. My name is Alex Dakos, and I am a American artist based in Los Angeles. As you explore my world of art, I want to share with you the story of my journey, one that has been shaped by passion, perseverance, and the pursuit of art that matters.

After completing my Associate degree in Art, I found myself facing an important question: what would I do with everything I had learned? While my passion was always to create art, the reality of providing for my family led me down a different path. I stepped into the corporate world, working at a marketing agency and navigating the routine of a 9-to-5 job. There, I gained invaluable experience in advertising and marketing and sharpened my skills in branding. Yet despite the professional growth, something felt missing—a quiet but persistent pull back toward the creative passion that had always defined me.

1.  Which type of content do you personally like to do the most?  

I enjoy inking  on Claybord. Something about etching out those highlights to create contrasts that I love. If I can add something relatable in the story to bring value to the viewer, that is also always a desire of mine.

 

2.  What made you stand out and achieve the current results?

I think it really came down to the intricate details found within my work that makes it more unique than normal. But also, the story behind the art and my composition of a design and how it resonates with the viewer. 

 

3.  What are you good at doing? 

I’m good at fine details with ink on paper or Claybord. Telling a story through visuals.  I'm also good at capturing a mood with paint.  

 

4. Is there a skill you are trying to develop? 

 Just always learning about art techniques to help perfect my craftsmanship. Whether that is getting cleaner line work with a pen or being able to express an emotion with paint. Just pushing limits and innovating new ideas forward.

5. How do you see your brand develop in the future?  

 I see it becoming a global entity. I have a vision of being known in national magazines and galleries. Doing shows and murals in different cities around the world. I also see collaborations with high-end fashion brands.
